 In Kansas, there are 37 wholesalers of beer and cereal malt beverages (CMB). KBWA members are located in cities from Dodge City to Kansas City, Kansas, and Frontenac to Norton.  They are all small businesses that make major contributions to the cities in which they are located.

The Kansas Beer Wholesalers Association was founded on July 1, 1944 as the Kansas Wholesalers of Malt Beverage Association. It was called the malt beverage association because only 3.2 beer (CMB) was legal for sale in Kansas at the time. That year there 114 local malt beverage wholesalers in the state.
